Iconic Joseff of Hollywood star necklace the height of Hollywood glamour it sits on the collar bones and would look brilliant with any low cut dress or top. The Austrian crystals that Joseff used were the best quality so they are bright and sparkly and really offset the slightly matt gilding. ‘Eugene Joseff created ‘Joseff of Hollywood’ jewellery for the movies from 1935 until his death in 1948. His wife Joan Castle carried on his work thereafter. They had a huge collection of original pieces that they hired for films and also used as inspiration for their extremely popular retail line, which simplified the styles of the originals but retained the Russian gilding which Joseff developed allowing cameras to film the jewels without glare, and allowing each wearer a special piece of that Hollywood glamour and celebrity seen in the original films.
