Wonderfully intricate Stanley Hagler NYC 1980s pearl and Russian gilt pendant
This lovely super wearable pendant necklace is made with glass faux pearls which makes it very light The soft Russian gilt flowers have lovely rhinestone insets which give little glints dotted all over the pendant. The gilt spacers between the pearls also have an elegant spacing. This is a shortish length, so it sits just below the collar bones, thus throwing lots of light onto the face. Lovely with any scooped neckline. After completing a law degree in 1951, Stanley Hagler devoted himself to the manufacture of costume jewellery, setting up a small workshop in New York’s Greenwich Village. In 1968, he reached the pinnacle of success with his jewellery, dramatic and extreme in its architectural structure, creating most of his iconic pieces, that caused their wearers to look and feel ‘beyond the average’!
