Regency French gilt ormolu headdress, c.1820s

Regency French gilt ormolu headdress, c.1820s
£275.00
This is a very surprising survival from the 1820s. Created in gilt ormolu metal with a frieze of exquisitely modeled leaves and a spring like coil top. It would be perfect to wear to a ball or wedding, but is elegant and subtle enough to just pop on if you are feeling regal! It currently has a black elastic sewn to it so it can be worn, but if the wearer is blonde a paler elastic can be substituted.
