Highly unusual Regency cut steel and mother of pearl on silver bracelet

This is a lovely and extremely old bracelet dating back to the 1820s. Cut steel was very popular in the early part of the 19th Century. Later cut steel was made in strips not proper studs but this bracelet shows the earlier form of individual studs welded together. The silver heart lock may be a later addition but is a lovely clasp to this light wearable piece of history.
